About Crawford Greenfield

I have been a graphic designer for over 25 years and have been specialising in landscape graphics, photomontage, GIS and visibility mapping since 2004. I love using maps, 3D, visualisations and animation to tell the story of a project or process. The foundation of my visualisation work is accuracy, built on excellent software skills and demonstrable workflow and QA processes to ensure compliance with appropriate standards such as: • Visual Representation of Windfarms: Good Practice Guidance v2.2 (Scottish Natural Heritage, 2017); • Visualisation Standards for Wind Energy Developments (The Highland Council, 2016); • LI TGN 06/19 Visual Representation of Development Proposals (Landscape Institute, 2019). My visualisations for wind farms have been tested at the highest level and I have successfully applied these accuracy standards in a proportionate manner to other types of projects such as energy from waste, minerals, solar and distillery proposals both in the UK and Ireland. I have been a member of the Landscape Institute since 2015.
