A final masterplan was agreed in 2022, and was subsequently been developed for construction. The project was completed in January 2024.
The project includes a refurbished ballcourt with a damp garden providing sustainable drainage and biodiversity enhancements. A new under 7s playground including a large bespoke play piece taking reference from the adjacent Crumbles Castle including castle rampart walls, draw bridge, tower slide and lookouts.
The project also includes an outdoor gym to encourage healthy active lifestyles. Further work has subsequently been developed to re-design the park entrances as part of the Cally Liveable Neighbourhood.
