Surf Snowdonia

Planit was initially appointed as Masterplanners to carry out a scoping and feasibility study for a potential residential scheme. Market-led factors, technical constraints and location within a flood zone quickly ruled out this possibility. A decision was made to progress water-based leisure opportunities, including kayaking, canoeing, swimming, cable wake boarding, sailing and white water rafting inspired by Area 47 in Austria. A fortuitous meeting brokered between Conwy Adventure Leisure and another Planit Client led to the introduction of Wavegarden®. Planit went on to act as LVIA Consultants, produce visually verified views and developed design proposals through to completion.
