About Glen Macfarlane

Glen is the founding principal of Macfarlane + Associates and has a proven track record of delivering award-winning international landscapes and successful placemaking. Over the last 25 years, he has focussed on his passion for urban regeneration and sustainable design that now define the Practice. The combination of his design talent and ability to listen to clients’ needs has enabled him to grow a loyal client base with successful placemaking schemes. His multi-cultural design team, offers the ability to communicate in numerous languages and regions of the world with extensive experience delivering luxurious landscapes for residential and leisure developments with specific expertise in drought tolerant planting and low water use irrigation systems. M+A were the first Landscape Architect to be invited to join the UK Green Building Council and remain an active member. Glen is a Design Review Panel member advising on design quality for significant schemes in London.
