About Sarah Jones-Morris

Sarah Jones-Morris FLI FIPM MA UD Director, Landsmith Associates Landscape Architect | Urbanist | Engagement Strategist Sarah Jones-Morris is a nationally recognised landscape architect and urban designer with over 25 years of experience spanning public, private, and community-led sectors. As the founding Director of Landsmith Associates, she leads a practice committed to nature-led, climate-resilient, and socially inclusive landscapes. A Fellow of the Landscape Institute and Fellow of the Institute of Place Management, Sarah specialises in systems-based, regenerative design with a strong focus on ecological restoration, water sensitivity, and co-creation. Her work bridges spatial strategy, policy, and on-the-ground delivery—developing innovative approaches for estates, streetscapes, brownfield sites, and green infrastructure frameworks. She was the lead author of the Engagement Overlay to the RIBA Plan of Work, and is an accredited Building with Nature Assessor and Auditor. Her commitment to high-quality, inclusive design is also reflected in her roles as a Design Council Expert, member of the Design West Review Panel, and co-CEO of the Association of Collaborative Design (2020–2024). Sarah is a sought-after speaker, writer, and educator. She lectures in professional practice and sustainable design at the University of Gloucestershire and has taught and critiqued at institutions including Bath Spa University and the Welsh School of Architecture. Her research and contributions appear in publications and journals that promote inclusive, nature-positive, and regenerative design.
