About Sheena Raeburn

Co-owner and Director of RaeburnFarquharBowen, Sheena is the Creative lead on many projects and can balance pragmatism and deliverability alongside creativity that result in elegant, purposeful spaces. She has a particular strength in landscape masterplanning led by a green infrastructure first approach that provide multi-functional landscapes for communities and wildlife to thrive. This has included projects at Bertha Park, Perth; Stratton, Inverness; Laurieston, Glasgow and Findrassie in Elgin. Health and wellbeing focused landscapes are an area of practice that Sheena has a passion for. Provide rich, inviting environments that enable our most vulnerable in society to thrive and enjoy being within. Her role in the revitalisation of Larbert Woods, has brought this neglected estate back to life. It has transformed into an asset of green infrastructure for health and wellbeing for the local community as wells as hospital staff, patients and visitors. As a Scottish frontrunner project for Building with Nature, it has been awarded the highest accreditation of Excellent. She is visiting Tutor on the Undergraduate and Post-graduate courses in Landscape Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. She is a Design Forum Panel Member with Architecture + Design Scotland. Sheena is a Mentor, Application Assessor and Examiner for the Landscape Institute's professional accreditation process, the Pathway to Chartership. She has recently become a Building with Nature Assessor and is a specialist consultant to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
